Every AXIOSS solution is tailored to the specific needs of the individual customer. As such, no two projects are identical. To ensure that individual education needs are addressed, in addition to our formal product training, we offer bespoke project level education. This is based around an organization’s individual solution requirements.

Our Expert Services project education plan extends the knowledge gained during the formal AXIOSS training courses. This best practice approach identifies specific education phases that fit the requirements and demands of each AXIOSS project. Project education is therefore tailored environmentally and aimed at specific teams within the organization. This ensures that the right people get the right education at the right time.
Initially, Axiom’s Expert Services will perform a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) within an organization. This phase determines which subjects and technologies should be covered and who within the organization will benefit most from the various topic areas. Once the initial analysis has been performed, a custom education package will be designed to achieve maximum benefit within the organization.

- FastStream Solution Development – Pointers / considerations for customization – such that you can take solution upgrades without affecting your customization
- The Northbound Interface – Options for the northbound interface & considerations of each.
- APIs & Reporting Views – Best practice, re-use of effort, conventions etc.
- Simple Device Activation – File & Template Activation methods. Evolutionary approach i.e. how to develop first phase and migrate snap-ins with upload & discrepancy. Benefits of using Methods for simple ‘change’ operations.
- The Service Model – O2S service representation vs. ASI as master service DB. Impact on Design/Implementation of Change and Cease Orders. Considerations for data migration.
- Data Migration – Case Study Based lessons on the impact of underestimating the impact of bad data and size of a data cleansing operation, options & methods for loading network and service data.
- Production Upgrades –checklists, what can go wrong, best practice, configuration management and test cycle, version management of O2S functions vs. custom code / orders in Progress /.
- Configuring for Performance – In Memory Workflow, Attribute Value searches, impact of Grids / volume of attributes etc on performance, Work queues & web server settings, troubleshooting performance, benchmarking performance, hardware effect on performance and identifying operational requirements – cost vs. expectations vs. actual need.
- AXIOSS Environment Setup – hardware & software requirements, installation process, on-site Oracle / Weblogic / AXIOSS installation process.
