Gareth Senior, CEO/CTO

Gareth SeniorGareth Senior is the Chief Executive and Chief Technology Officer at Axiom Systems, responsible for the technology architectural design and future product planning. He joined the company, in 1990 as a Network Support consultant.

In 1993 he moved to the development arm of Axiom Systems and began working with BT Network Managed Services working on Order Management and Inventory Management products which later became AXIOSS Order to Service and Service Inventory.

As a key part of Axiom Systems operations and rapid growth, in 1995 Gareth was promoted to Development Manager and was invited to join the board as Operations Director in 1997. Following venture capital funding in 2000, he was appointed Chief Technology Officer and remains in this role as the innovator and creator of Axiom Systems unique products and solutions. During 2004 Gareth also took on the mantel of Chief Executive Officer to oversee the commercial running of the company.

Gareth has 16 years IT development experience, 11 years of which were spent working directly for National Carriers with a focus on Service Fulfillment.

Dave Humphries, Chief Financial Officer

Dave is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Axiom Systems Limited.  He previously worked at LogicaCMG plc as the mergers and acquisitions director, integration director (for the merger of Logica plc and CMG plc) and finally, the Chief Financial Officer of the telecommunications products division.  Dave qualified as an accountant with Touche Ross where he worked both in the corporate recovery and corporate finance departments.  He is married with three children and lives in Kent.



Minesh Patel, Executive VP Operations

Minesh PatelMinesh Patel is the Executive VP of Operations for Axiom Systems.

He joined the company in March 2001 following an initial round of VC funding and an aggressive expansion plan for global solutions.

Minesh is responsible for defining and delivering the company's sales strategy and overseeing alliances, including the recruitment of partners to enable indirect sales.

Prior to joining Axiom Systems, Minesh was responsible for Alliances at Micromuse. During his three years at Micromuse, Minesh developed and facilitated the growth of the company's channel, building major alliances and revenues through Consulting Partners, VARs, Technology Partners and Equipment Vendors.

Prior to Micromuse, Minesh worked for 7 years at Oracle in various roles including Head of Presales and Product Management for its ERP practice. Minesh was also responsible for building the BSS and OSS solutions using Oracle and Partners solution as well as building specialist BSS/OSS teams for the Oracle Telecom Business Unit across EMEA.

Derek Bell, Senior VP Professional Services

Derek BellDerek Bell is Senior Vice President of Technical Services for Axiom Systems Ltd. He joined Axiom Systems in July 2004 and has many years experience in project management, technology solutions and telecommunications networks.

Derek's current role includes defining and executing the technical presales strategy whilst managing the day-to-day operations of project management activities for customers and partners. Derek also manages the alliance support program, which includes providing lab installations, proof of concepts, educational workshops, and bid management support for Axiom Systems key system integrators and equipment manufacturer partners.

Prior to joining Axiom Systems, Derek was VP of Professional Services at Metasolv, Nortel and Architel after an early career at Digital in software development and systems integration.

Phill Vickers, VP Engineering

Phill VickersPhill Vickers is VP Engineering at Axiom Systems.   

Since joining the company in 1995 he has been involved in the inception and production of all the AXIOSS products. He is responsible for the entire product development lifecycle from requirements to product launch encompassing the Development, QA & Product Management functions.  

After graduating with a 1st class honours BSc in Information Technology from De Montfort University (Leicester) he went on to work at Siemens-Plessey on the UK’s air traffic control system; since then he has spent the last 12 years working within the telecoms OSS software industry.

Martine Parsons, Marketing Director

Martine Parsons is the Marketing Director at Axiom Systems. She joined the company in April 2001 following an initial round of VC funding and the launch of an aggressive expansion plan for global solutions.

Martine is responsible for overseeing Marketing and PR strategies and effective marketing tactics to communicate the Axiom Systems value proposition, brand and mission globally. She is also responsible for all lead generation programs and a tightly integrated sales and marketing strategy that contributes to Axiom Systems high revenue growth.  

Martine also owns the marketing and business development for the Product and Service Assembly Initiative in co-operation with companies such as Oracle, BT, TeliaSonera, QinetiQ, Microsoft and Cable and Wireless.

Martine has worked for a variety of companies in the telecommunications and software industry such as BEA Systems, Broadbase software and Avaya. Her previous role was at London-based public relations agency, Grant Butler Coomber.

Simon Osbourne, Vice President, Strategy and Architecture

Simon Osbourne, Vice President, Strategy and ArchitectureSimon Osborne is VP Strategy & Architecture at Axiom Systems. Simon joined the company in 2005 as a “Solution Architect” within the Professional Services Group, after working within the BSS/OSS Telecoms industry for over 12 years for companies such as Pacific Bell, Bell Canada, Nortel Networks and MetaSolv. Simon has worked on many varied project deployments within fixed, mobile and data networks domains, working closely at architecture level within major service providers around the world.  

Today, Simon is responsible for defining future product and technology direction for the company. Simon has taken a leading role, within a leading industry initiative (the PSA) and this has lead to the conception and realization of the Active Catalog product offering from Axiom Systems.  

Simon has over 16 years of IT experience, specializing within Telecoms sector for 14 years.
